Travel cabinet in rosewood veneer mounted on oak with a beautiful geometric decoration on the sides and a very beautiful front opening with three drawers in two rows.
the front therefore has three drawers nicely decorated with bone plates on the theme of hunting:
a hunter of course, a lion, birds, a hare and trees.
the bone plates are surrounded by bone friezes decorated with floral motifs.
ornamental nails with florets underline the whole.
the keyholes are worked.
the skeleton locks are original.
the keys operate the locks but are not original.
the oak drawers are fitted with thin dovetails.
the geometric marquetry in rosewood veneered on an oak structure.
This charming cabinet is in very good condition.
the golden feet were probably changed in the 19th century.
a very beautiful cabinet probably Flemish or German from the 17th century on the theme of hunting, in very good condition and easy to place.
