"Superb Venus At The Bath After Giambologna - Collector Bronze "
Small "cabinet" bronze representing a Venus at the Bath ("Venerina") after a model of Giambologna
Medal patina bronze on a breccia marble base with gilt bronze plaque.
Very high quality of chasing.
Paris, circa 1880. Manufacturer's signature: "E. Jullien, 12 rue Pasquier, Paris" in a round stamp under the plaque.

Excellent condition, consistent with age and use (see photographs)

E. Jullien, Parisian manufacturer of the 19th century specialized in precious objects and bronzes always of a very beautiful quality.

Diameter of the base: 6,6 cm / 2.6 in.
