"Pair Of XVIth Andirons In Wrought Iron."

We present this beautiful pair of wrought iron andirons produced in central Italy in the second half of the 16th century. They are characterized by a regular shape that opens in small and fine spirals in the lower part of the stem both laterally and frontally. The upper part ends with suggestive bronze knobs with a radial pattern. The curved feet have ornamental carvings.
