Art Deco Mirror From The Leglas-maurice Manufacture

Small art deco mirror This entirely wooden mirror is a product of the Nantes-based Leglas-Maurice factory. This factory was one of the most important manufacturer of French luxury furniture at the end of the 19th century and until the middle of the 20th century. The factory produced very high quality objects, even decorating the interior of liners such as Le Bretagne or Le Normandie. This mirror is therefore of a high quality of manufacture. Its solid wood frame is in excellent condition, with some traces of use. Its nitrate ice is also in perfect condition with very slight pitting which gives it its charm and authenticity. The parquet flooring on the back is original. There is the stamp of the manufacturer. This mirror represents what was best at the beginning of the 20th century and perfectly displays the geometry of the art deco style.
