Lovely sterling silver birth or baptism gift in its original box dating from 1853. Hallmarked with the marks of the London guarantee office for the title 925%. Richly decorated with branches of raspberry bushes laden with fruit, it is a typical testimony to the ornamental abundance of the Victorian era which clearly has nothing to envy to its contemporary Napoleon III. The beaker and cutlery are very solid and weigh 340 grams together. The vermeil that covers the inside of the handle cup is in perfect condition.
