The two French goldsmiths Georges Boin and his son-in-law Emile Taburet created the Maison Boin-Taburet in Paris around 1875 until 1900.
They produced numerous pieces of goldsmithery inspired by the magnificent services of the 18th century as well as for the Universal Exhibition of 1889 in Paris.
