"Pastel Portrait Of A Restoration Period Officer"
Beautiful pastel portrait from the Restoration period, representing an officer in his ceremonial dress in royal blue cloth closing with gilt brass buttons, collar embroidered with gold threads, and ermine coat. An indecipherable signature and date are visible on this beautifully crafted work, presented in an oval frame in wood and gilded stucco from the 19th century. The old blown glass window has been removed for photos without reflections, but it is present. Dimensions: 57 X 50 cm for the frame, 39 X 33 cm for the pastel alone.
