"Series Of 10 Watercolors. Fishing Sailboats Towards Concarneau."
Set of ten Breton watercolors representing sailing fishing boats in the Concarneau region. Six, in horizontal formats, are presented in a molded oak frame, wide flat strip and golden bevel. The watercolors in a large passe-partout with a gilt bevel. Dimensions of each watercolor 13.5 cm x 8.5 cm. total dimensions, 68 cm x 42 cm. Four other watercolors in vertical formats, of the same presentation. size of each, 13 cm x 8.5 cm. total dimensions, 66 cm x 34 cm. some small foxing, very little. Each of these watercolors is monogrammed, and the frames bear a golden brass cartouche in the name of BOUIS. ( To identify ). They are framed of origin. Very friendly and decorative and executed by a talented artist.
