According to Jean-Antoine Houdon (1741-1828) White marble bust representing Louise Brongniart aged seven Period 19th century Height: 32.5 cm - Width: 17 cm - Depth: 10 cm Base diameter: 10 cm Louise Brongniart is the daughter of the famous architect Alexandre Théodore Brongniart (1739-1813), famous for the construction of the Paris Stock Exchange (Palais Brongniart). Houdon represented the busts of Louise Brongniart and her brother Alexandre Brongniart in pairs. The original works are currently kept at the Louvre Museum.
