"Gate Forged During The Second Half Of The 18th Century"

Elegant gate forged during the second half of the 18th century, in perfect condition. The tops of the bars are forged in flame every other time, a beautifully crafted median post frieze adorns it and all the joints are mortise and tenon. The two fixing laces have been redone identically. Its hilt bayonet is in perfect working order, see last photo. The section of the frames is 35 x 35 mm, that of the bars is 25 x 25 mm.
