Very beautiful statue of the Blessed Virgin in sculpted white stone. This is a very old sculpture, from the 16th or 17th century. It must have spent centuries exposed to the outside because the stone seems to have been eroded by time, rain and wind. The Virgin holds books and a globe in her hands. Direct size of the stone (you can see the traces of tools on the back part). The base has a break that was formerly glued. Period late 16th, early 17th century.
