"Burmese Equestrian Statue In Golden Wood"
Burmese equestrian sculpture in gilded wood dating from the beginning of the 20th century representing a warrior in gilded wood riding his mount in polychromed and gilded wood. The whole rests on its polychrome wooden terrace with an inscription in Sanskrit (?) on the front. The rider, in ceremonial dress, proudly holds the reins of his mount in original trimmings. The horse is also represented in ceremonial dress with its harness sculpted in low relief and gilded. A few small accidents and lacks.
