"Property Console, In Solid Walnut, Restoration Period - Early Nineteenth"
Console in solid Walnut, with top in Gray veined White Marble. It offers a drawer 7 cm deep, hidden in its belt, and opening by two invisible notches placed below. This piece of furniture consists of two curved legs at the front, finished in crosses in the upper parts and modestly molded in the lower parts. They are themselves encamped on two square section pedestals. The uprights and rear legs are flat and straight. The whole is linked by a thick Crotch plate, curved in front. We will remember that this Bicentenary Console has the particularity of being entirely designed in solid Walnut, where its congeners are frequently made of Veneer, at least partially. ******** Period: Early 19th century Excellent condition after restoration in our workshop.
