Antique Dressed Enamel Brooch

Round brooch enamelled with a character wearing a helmet and whose start of the coat is set with a line of 4 rose-cut diamonds. The attachment system is a pin with hook.

Period: 19th century
Main material: yellow gold, 750 thousandths, 18 carats, eagle's head hallmark.
Pin diameter: about 2.6mm, thickness: about 3mm.
Net weight: about 6.7g.
Authentic old jewel - French work from the end of the 19th century. Small white enamel mark above the helmet, hardly visible.
Our opinion: the enamelling is very fine, taking up the movements of the hair, the texture of the skin, the expressions of the face. The clothes and the helmet are also made with a lot of material and color effects.
