Beautiful Venetian medallion mirror, 18-19th century work. Both the gilding and the sculpture are in perfect condition. The mercury mirrors have become occidated under the effect of time. Their reflective surface has shrunk, but seems to open onto a supernatural and magical world. Great decorative effect.
