"Museum: Hannong, 2 Kakiémon Plates, Frankenthal Porcelain 1760"
Beautiful pair of white porcelain plates in a contoured shape, with four reserves on relief, 2 painted with birds in the Korean style, two with small bouquets of polychrome and gold Indian flowers. Centre decorated of two oriental equilibrists, carrying a pipe or a cup, or both, in a palm tree decoration with flying insects. Back of each plate bears the blue marks of Frankenthal, 1759/1862, as well as the encrusted mark of Joseph Hannong. Rare Manufacture, Hinge period between Paul and Joseph Hannong: the decor is by Paul, the manufacture by Joseph....
See the concise documentation of Danckert, last photos.
Flaws: one plate has a chip on the edge, the other one part of wing glued, (red arrows) some lack of colors, and a few smears.
I let you be the judge of the qualities of these more than rare plates.
