Rare wall shelf, rectangular in shape, with scalloped ends. The rim is decorated with a frieze of gilded flowers in Hiramaki-e lacquer, in stylized cartouches. Border, with a gold Hiramaki-e lacquer with a Greek frieze, the pillars and the balconies decorated with gilded petals. Below, two scenes separated by a wooden carved scalloped part, present butterflies, grasshopper and dragonfly, in a plant decoration with leaves and flowers, inlaid with bone and mother-of-pearl. Ideal for hanging a beautiful item, vase, sculpture...Very good general condition. Broken parts glued on a balcony, clearly indicated on my detailed photos.
