The church of Sainte-Cécile de Porte-Joie is a former Romanesque church rebuilt in the 15th century after the Hundred Years' War, located in Porte-Joie (commune déléguée of the new commune of Porte-de-Seine), Normandy.
Barbizon School, oil on its original canvas signed lower right Jacques Adrien Sauzay was a pupil of the great Italian painter Alberto Pasini who introduced him to landscape painting, anfrom 1863 he participated in all the salons of painting in Paris where he obtained the following awards:
1880, mentioned at the Paris Salon
1881, 3rd class medal at the Paris Salon
1883, 2nd class medal at the Paris Salon (Out of competition)
He also participated in the universal exhibitions of Paris, where he obtained in 1889, the bronze medal and in 1900, the bronze medal
