Small Italian Chest Of Drawers In Walnut Louis XV Period

Charming little chest of drawers in walnut and walnut veneer from the Louis XV period, in the second half of the 18th century.
a very beautiful Italian work in very pleasant dimensions, a piece of furniture very easy to house. this small chest of drawers is strongly curved on three sides.
it rests on 4 curved Louis XV legs, it opens on the front with two curved drawers veneered with a walnut marquetry with clear fillets around a brambled walnut reserve.
we find the same inlaid decoration on the curved sides. the drawers are Italian-style on a fir and oak structure and they have kept their original locks which work with an old key.
there is no restoration to report apart from small veneer grafts on the tips of the feet.
it has retained its original old marble, a beautiful rancid red marble worked around its perimeter with a corbin beak.
Beautiful waxed varnish finish. a lovely dresser very easy to place.
