A very resistant piece, possessing beautiful colors, mainly ivory, very pale green, pink and dominant bronze green.
The whole of the green field covered with flowers and arabesques, supports a justaposed medallion with eight points, accompanied by two small pendants taking the form of a halberd, or fleur-de-lys and four spandrels.
The nuances are fresh and the thick and soft velvet is in perfect condition.
The edges are impeccable as well as the fringes having the original length. Tied to Kanchipuram, Kanchi, or Kancheepuram is one of the seven holy cities of India.
It was the capital of the great Dravidian kingdoms.
