"Lyonnais Hunting Buffet"
Superb Lyonnais hunting buffet called "stone buffet" from the Regency period opening with 2 front leaves. Open, it reveals two interior drawers and 1 original shelf. A beautiful double-bolt lock equips one leaf while a typically Lyonnaise cremone bolt equips the other. Its two generously molded leaves on the periphery as well as its sides formed of a vertical upright and two panels are typical of a Lyonnaise production and its surroundings. It rests on a plinth and is topped with a thick 5.5 cm stone top probably extracted from the quarries of Saint Fortunat. It is molded with a corbin beak on the periphery. Assembly of the rear parts by wrought iron lag bolts. It is branded with the number "AC", probably a mark of ownership, in several places as can be seen in the photos. Very nice original key!
