Large Ottoman Bed With Imperial Louis XV

Rare and large Turkish or ottoman bed
carved with acanthus leaves, branches, ribbon bows and quivers. The amounts in volutes. They rest on small arched feet. Louis XV period, gray rechampie in oak wood -

Surmounted by an imperial or wooden bed canopy carved with water leaf, ditto gray rechampie to be fixed to the ceiling - Voluptuous shapes
All the upholstery is new in linen and cotton with trimmings and double Houlés tiebacks - Same as new mattress and box spring made to measure -
Also known as a crooked bed with two bedside tables rolled up in a cross -

There are models with three bedside tables, the third removable thus making it easier to prepare for bed - The Turkish bed is a rest bed, with a massive appearance and armrests curves typical of late 18th century French furniture -

The arrangement of the canopy and curtains reminiscent of the Polish bed -

Fabulous Turkish bed pieces or very large daybeds were created by
Nicolas Quinibert Foliot or Jean Batiste Tilliard for Versailles, Nissim de Camondo or beautiful residences -
