Circa 1790 France Glorious Toile de Nantes "Le Chariot de l'Aurore" from the 18th century in cotton printed on the copper plate in vegetable red, probably cochineal. Panel sewn in five parts by machine in the 20th century to form a patchwork hanging. Original ecru cotton lining from the 18th century. Clean piece cleaned without a hole in red weathered by time. Good general state of conservation. Dimensions: 191 cm high by 90 cm wide
