Astonishing and old vestige of wooden sculpture, Saint Francis around 1880.
A bird must have been placed on his right hand, hence his strange posture.
Body, hands and head in wood, glass eyes, original polychromy with a marvelous patina of time.
Many gaps, cracks and joys of the genre, but still standing.
Perfectly presented on a solid wood base in our workshops.
The whole has been slightly cleaned, patina protected by a veil of adapted wax.

Dimensions
73cm in height, the base is 27cm wide and 24cm deep.
