This beautiful painting is signed at the bottom right: C. Castelli da Melcher and dated 1918. 
Gari Julius MELCHER is an American painter born to Dutch parents.
He was born in Detroit, USA. August 11, 1860 and died in 1932.
He’s in the Berlin Museum.
He is a student of Jules LEFEBVRE and Gustave BOULANGER.
He appears at the Salon des Artistes Français. 
Grand prize at the 1889 Universal Exhibition.

I don’t know if this painting is painted from a MELCHER painting or if CASTELLI painted this painting in a common way WITH MELCHER.
