She specialized mainly in the animal genre. Biography Jane Le Soudier obtained the drawing prize from the city of Paris at the age of fourteen, the silver medal from the city of Tréport in 1908, the gold medal from the city of Dinan in 1909. She is pupil of the landscape painter Henri Harpignies and took sculpture lessons from the animal sculptor Georges Gardet. She made bronze and stone sculptures from her drawings in her studio in Montparnasse, where she was active, until her death at the age of ninety-two. She became an officer of the academy in 1925 and received a bronze medal for sculpture at the 1925 International Art Exhibition and an honorable mention at the Salon des Artistes Français the following year. She was awarded the Montyon prize and the gold medal of the French federation for dedication in 1935.
