Marked "National Guard of Montigny" and in a triangle "militia of Montigny" In the center appears in a medallion "The nation, the law and the king" Note that the "law" has been added with a gold spangled felt . Dated 1791. Decor in blue and red entirely made with stencil. Wear, corner repairs. Mounted on a light modern cotton gauze.
