Church of Saint Mary of Miracles in Venice or Santa Maria dei Miracoli, built between 1481 and 1489 by Pietro Lombardo.
Recognized as one of the most beautiful churches in Venice. Pierre Bracquemond (1870-1926). French painter of allegorical subjects, portraits, interiors. Son and pupil of Félix Bracquemond then pupil at the School of Fine Arts in Paris of Léon Bonnat and Henri Cros, he exhibited regularly from 1898 at the National School of Fine Arts.
Signed and dated 1907 lower right, signed and located on the back Miracoli. Oil on canvas 65.5x54.5 cm. Good condition, one restoration at the bottom. Wooden frame around 1900, 73x62 cm.
