"Bonbonnière Or Jar With Lid In Cloisonné Enamel, China Late 19th Century"
Very pretty bonbonniere (or jar with lid) in cloisonné enamel. Decor of flowers and interlacing on the lid and around the box. Inverted spinning top shape. Small unusual feature: the enamel has not been applied over the entire surface, you can see the gilded brass which forms a background to the decoration. Probably Chinese work, towards the end of the 19th century or the beginning of the 20th century. Email in perfect condition. Small difference in diameter between the neck of the box and the lid (slight flutter of 5-6 mm)
