Vintage Double Sided 5 Drawer Desk

Original with its top with slightly curved sides, this double-sided desk from the 1960s/70s is also very functional: it opens with five drawers and a pen tray and has, on the visitor side, a housing over its entire width serving as a library or allowing objects to be displayed there. It stands on four tapered legs. Beautiful patina with some wear marks and stains. Some drawers are fitted with slanted sorting panels for filing paper, the pencil drawer incorporates a plastic storage tray. The design is Scandinavian-inspired. The workmanship is of good quality, the drawers are assembled with a dovetail and the grip is made by a hollow oval-shaped solid wood handle recessed in the front of the drawers.
