Courtesy box on the model of a small cabinet, rare example of popular art, southern Alsace or Switzerland, remember that our city of Mulhouse was an independent republic under Swiss protectorate until the end of the 18th century and that the style of furniture produced in our region is close to the Swiss decorative arts.
