Rare and deep / heavy brass alms dish or basin, with an umbilicus radiant center design framing a small 10 petals flower
Middle of 15th cty from Nurnberg (Germany) workshops
Used condition
Wear of gadroons protruding parts slightly perforated the brass surface inside the basin (see photos).
A suspension hole was plugged by a tin weld (above the hitch hook welded to the reverse posteriorly).
This restoration is for sure old.
This basin is one of the oldest (15th cty) we can find in this thema collection
