Magnificent regulator in aventurine lacquer and gilded bronze. Decor of Japanese scenes, flowers and birds. Enamelled dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, signed Dutertre à Paris. Finely chiseled openwork hands. Violin body, stylized lateral keyhole, sunburst pendulum. The reverse cavet base, curved front and sides, uprights with fluted scrapers. Ornamentation of gilded bronzes: falls of acanthus, tied ribbons, laurel leaves. The pediment with a world map, the uprights with busts of espagnolette. Movement numbered and signed Plachon in Paris.
