Louis XIII Style Living Room, Pair Of Armchairs And Pair Of XIXth Century Walnut Chairs.

Very beautiful Louis XIII style living room including a suite composed of two armchairs and two chairs. Each seat rests on two front baluster legs and two straight rear legs, with a square section. These four legs are connected to each other by an H spacer turned into a baluster, as is the high crosspiece, on the front. Each backrest is very high and inclined, providing great comfort. The armrests of the armchairs are finished with grotesque heads, all slightly different from each other. The seat, as well as the covering fabric, are in good condition and are still comfortable. Note a very slight insolation of the fabric on the back of the two chair backs without affecting the aesthetics. Very nice work from the second half of the 19th century in solid walnut.
