Officer's pistol, Louis Philippe period, circa 1830-1850, 19th century. Octagonal barrel with sight, rear sight and front sight, barrel interior with fine stripes. Forward type percussion lock with engraving. “S” dog. Punch on the left side of the barrel of LIEGE, "starry ELG". Checkered hilt walnut frame with flower-engraved trigger guard. Metal handle cap in the shape of a scallop shell that opens and conceals the reserve primer box. A number is stamped on the bottom of the handle at the height of the cap. Wand missing. Mechanism left in working order. Length: 35.5 cm Barrel length: 20 cm Diameter at the mouth: 15 mm. Good state of conservation and use, in its own juice, see details in the photos.
