"Oil Painting On Canvas"
Painting, oil on canvas representing a groom spreading the hay in a stable, probably a castle. He has around him animals such as, donkey, goat, hens and small chickens. On the side a seal hung and we can distinguish many cobwebs at the window and under the vaults of the ceiling. A small cat sits on the stairs in the hay together with a dog in the manger. This painting bears the signature lower right Aline G. Unfortunately, we have not found the painter of this painting. Period painting circa 1850, on its original canvas and frame. It is presented in a molded frame in wood and gilded stucco decorated with ovals and pearls. Dimensions with frame: Height: 84.5 cm – Length: 100.5 cm Dimensions at sight of the canvas: Height: 62.3 cm – Length: 79 cm
