The Mona Lisa, or Portrait of Mona Lisa, is a painting by the artist Leonardo da Vinci, made between 1503 and 1506 or between 1513 and 1516, and possibly until 1517, which represents a half-length portrait, probably the one of the Florentine Lisa Gherardini, wife of Francesco del Giocondo.
