In gray lacquered wood, the rear and front saber legs, the latter forming projecting armrest supports, flat top, convex front. Rear upholstery in white fabric.
Empire period, 1804-1815.
Stamps "JACOB . D / R . MESLÉE" by Georges Jacob (1739-1814) and François Honoré Georges Jacob Desmalter (1770-1841).
Bears the iron mark "EU" under the crown of Prince of the Blood of Louis-Philippe, Duke of Orléans, and a stenciled inventory number "...90..." (?).
