Beautiful Yellow Lacquered Mirror With Floral Decorations, Provence XVIIIth.
No Beautiful Provençal mirror from the Louis XV period, with a scalloped top, decorated with patterns on a yellow lacquered flat surface of flowered baskets, foliage, flowers and regency style grid frames at the four corners. Larger than a mirror of a similar nature called a “table” mirror, this one is therefore rarer.
The absolutely original mercury and tan mirror crystal is marked by its age.
The parquet back and the wall tie are also original.
