By Victor Boivin, superb late 19th century basket, in solid silver. Oval in shape, it is elegantly adorned with an important rococo decoration. On the central walls and around very raised ripples, musical attributes stand out enriched with a springtime ornament of flowers, crosses, pendants and leafy garlands. This generous decor covers the entire basket, giving it all its prestige. No bump or knock, micro-scratches from use and tiny micro-marks on the bottom. Excellent conditions. Minerve guarantee hallmark (950/1000) stamped on the piedouche and the basket, hallmark of the master goldsmith Victor Boivin (son) on the reverse. (VB, two stars, a crescent).
