"Very Large Italian Oil Painting "
Very large Italian oil painting on canvas "marine landscape of Taranto with fishermen", very bright and realistic painting, typical expression of pictorial realism of the early twentieth century. the painting bears the inscription "Taranto", dated 1900 and the signature of Anna Hueber (deLiponti), a painter active in Italy between the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. the painting needs some minor restoration which could be carried out at our restoration workshops. The painting is embellished with a splendid carved and gilded wooden frame with pure gold leaf (20 cm wide).
