Superb small oil on panel. Oswald Poreau, received his training at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels in both painting and architecture.  There were as masters in painting from 1895 to 1900 Joseph Stallaert and Joseph Quinaux and for architecture Ernest Acker.
 According to Georges Eekhoud "the work of Oswald Poreau gives us both an impression of power and harmonious progression2". He continued his training in Paris in 1905 and was active in Barbizon and Brittany
 measures with frame 31cm by 31cm
