LEFORT, Georges (1875-1954). Bourbriac (1900). Blue pencil and watercolour. 47.3 x 31.8 cm. Located, dated (August 1900) and signed lower right. The Saint-Briac church in Bourbriac (Côtes-d'Armor), listed as a Historic Monument since 1907. Georges Robert Lefort was born in Paris in 1875 and died in Guingamp in 1954. Student at the École des Beaux-arts from Paris, he settled as an architect and urban planner in Guingamp in 1906. He was architect of the City of Rennes, ordinary architect of the Historic Monuments, architect of the Hospices Civils de Rennes, architect of the City of Guingamp. We also owe him several buildings in Saint-Brieuc or Dinan; he worked on the restoration of several churches in Brittany.
