The box is rectangular, the body, like the lid, are in colorless glass.
The setting is in solid silver and vermeil. It consists of a separator dividing the box into two compartments, the rim and the hinge.
On the lid, the upper part of the hinge is decorated with a beam held by crossed ribbons in the Louis XVI style.
The frame is hallmarked:
