Large solid silver tray, oval in shape, flanked by two handles united in interlacing. The raised contours are molded with strong nets, the center richly engraved with a spring decoration of leafy branches in scrolls around flowers, birds and butterflies. The punches are stamped on the contour and on the tray itself. (see snapshot). (Poland/Hungary late 19th century). The reverse consists of a wooden plate embedded in the top giving it a comfortable hold. Total length - Total weight: 59 cm. / 23. 22 in. Width - Width: 39 cm. / 15. 35 in.
