The secretary was made using the mahogany veneer method on a conifer and hardwood construction. It is an example of the excellent work of French cabinetmakers. The piece of furniture bears the beautiful LSvCF signature on the back. We assume these are the initials of the furniture owner. The secretary needs minor restoration.
