Painter, engraver, poet. Student of H. Vanderhecht and J. Portaels, perfected in Paris. Predilection for portraits, figures, interiors, landscapes. Realistic sunny. In 1924, he painted large decorative panels for the town hall of Saint-Ghislain. Lives for most of his life in Uccle near J. Delville. For years, he resided for six months in France. Member of the “Le Sillon” Group. Secretary of the review “Le Thyre” and also contributes to “La Wallonie”. From 1906, he taught at the Academy of Saint-Gilles.
