"Daniel Thouroude De Losque: "the Singer Mayol ""
Daniel Thouroude de Losque (1880-1915): "The singer Mayol", lithograph 59 X 20 cm mounted under a mat. Dedicated by Mayol himself in blue pencil "to the good author of Les Robes de Colibri", so probably Pierre Chapelle who wrote the lyrics to this song in 1908. Best known for his posters (it was he who created the famous show of Mistinguett), de Losques also practiced lithography. This one shows us the famous singer Mayol in an inimitable attitude with his tuft of red hair and his sprig of lily of the valley in his buttonhole. Despite some minor foxing, in very good condition, matted. Do not hesitate to ask us for photos or additional information by email or telephone.
