"Virgin And Child In Carved Wood Early 20th Century Oak Direct Carving"
Here is a beautiful sculpture, probably from the end of the 19th century, it represents a Virgin or a woman holding a child on her knees, a pretty drape, the whole thing was executed in a single element, it is a beautiful direct carving probably oak . We report friction on the whole, splits in various places, white spots, two gaps on the hand of the Virgin and under the feet of the child, nothing very serious for an article of this time. We did a basic cleaning. Sold as found, untouched. For the state thank you for detailing the photos. The photos are an integral part of the description.
