"A Rare Russian Cossack Officer's Sword Shashka Asian Sample 1913 A."
An extremely rare Russian Cossack officer's sword Shashka Asian Sample 1913 a. There is no Nickolay II monogram, so this means that it is a provisional government. There are some small damages on the blade which you can see in the pictures, and a ring is missing on a scabbard. But the general condition is very good for the period. Analysis of documents suggests that in the period from 1913 to 1917, no more than 100 Asian-style officer drafts (approximately) were made in Zlatoust. All of the sabers that have survived to the present day are extremely rare at museum level. This rarest Russian shashka would make a great addition to any serious collection!
